  • FOR THE CUSTOMER:

  • MINIMUM INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • A licensed roofing contractor should install Avi Anchor™ products. Installation requirement will vary based upon roofing materials, roof pitch, aspect and local weather (snow load)
  • Spacing of the Avi Anchor ™ also depends on the above, therefore Avi Anchor™ LLC does not specify spacing placement on roof. Your local roofing contractor and local building code officer should make decisions regarding the placement of product.
  • When engineering the placement and frequency of Avi Anchor™ snow guards, one should consider the forces in which they will be exposed to. Those specifics will vary from roof to roof and are affected by the slope, roof length, aspect and local snow loads.

  • 1) Apply silicone caulking to bottom of both feet and install to flat and clean surface of roof.

  • 2) Use at minimum, a #14 wood screw with neoprene washer. Make sure screw goes through the roofing materials, wood sheeting, and into roof substructure.

  • 3) Follow all local building codes, Uniform Build Codes, and OSHA safety codes while installing Avi Anchor™ product to roof.

  • 4) The pyramid on the Avi Anchor™ product should face up slope to ridge.


  • WARNING: DO NOT LET ROOF OVERLOAD WITH SNOW AD OR ICE. FREQUENTLY REMOVE SNOW AND ICE FROM ROOF.
  • Properly installed, Avi Anchor™ snow guards will restrain moderate accumulations of snow and ice during storms, and do not eliminate or reduce the need to remove snow and ice build-up. Snow and ice should be removed as soon as possible after a snow/ice event.

  • THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES THAT EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION ON THE FACE HEREOF. USHER SHALL DETERMINE THE SUITABILITY OF THE AVI ANCHOR™ PRODUCT FOR ITS INTENDED USE AND ASSUMES ALL RISKS OF ITS USE OR HANDLING.
